Wedding Venues on the Thames

Having wanted a quintessential British themed Wedding, we were looking for a venue where we could have afternoon tea before going on to a traditional pub for our party.

 

Thames Weddings created the perfect package - Afternoon Tea whilst cruising along the River Thames.

 

The boat picked us up at Chelsea Harbour, welcoming us on-board with a glass of Champagne on the open top deck. As we cruised past some of London's most iconic sights, we sat down and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon tea.

 

After a relaxing 2 hour cruise, we arrived at Greenwich Pier feeling relaxed and ready for the heavy night of celebrations that lay ahead of us.

After deciding to get married in one of the Towers at Tower Bridge, we were wondering how to transfer our guests to the River Cafe in Kew.

 

We looked through the Tower Hamletts brochure and found Thames Weddings. We decided to get in touch even though we thought it would be too expensive for our budget. Amanda was extremely helpful and put together a package that met both our needs and budget. The Thames Virtue boat picked us up at Tower Pier and our guests enjoyed glasses of Prosecco and circulating canapes as we sailed up to Kew.
